Kendall prepares to strut in Melbourne

FORMER Rockhampton, and now Mackay model, Kendall Olive, is preparing to strut her stuff on the catwalk during the inaugural FashionTV Diamond Model Award finals in Melbourne tonight.

Ms Olive, who qualified by winning the Mackay final at Doors Nightclub on October 16, will compete against 19 finalists from across Australia.

The competitors will model after-five wear and swim wear in the grand final, which will be held at Melbourne’s Peninsula at Docklands from 7pm.

If Ms Olive wins, she will be crowned Australia’s first FashionTV Diamond Model. The coveted title is accompanied by more than $100,000 in prizes, including a FashionTV professional photo shoot.

Ms Olive has a successful track record in modelling competitions, having won fourth place in the Miss Bikini World Australia and Best Model Australia competitions and reached the state finals of Miss Universe Australia. She is hoping for her break into the modelling world.
