Koalas reach families in Newtown, Connecticut.
FIFTY Koala Cops and 20 Constable T Bears have arrived in Newtown, Connecticut, to be given to the families who suffered the loss of loved ones in the shooting massacre.
The 20-year-old Adam Lanza shot and killed 26 people on December 14.
Rockhampton Police sent a number of Koala Cops to the Chief of Police to help remember the people killed in the Connecticut massacre .
Of the 26 people killed, 20 were children who were slain by the gunman. The Rockhampton Police decided to show their support for the victims' families and solidarity for their fellow US policemen.
Rockhampton Police and their support staff raised more than $2000 to buy the soft toys which will be given to the survivors.
The toys arrived in Newtown during the weekend to be given to the families.
