Law of Jungle - migrants moved

WORKERS have begun removing the "Jungle” asylum seeker camp in Calais, France, swinging sledgehammers to tear down makeshift dwellings as residents are moved out. Police have stood by with water cannon. Some of the 7000 refugees have lived in the coastal camp for years, seeking entry to Britain. They waited for buses to take them for resettlement across France. Officials said the operation was going peacefully and there were no skirmishes with security forces, unlike over the weekend. "I will build another Jungle,” said one asylum seeker.
