LETTER: Let's debate our involvement in 'US war machine'

I WOULD like to respond to Adam Wratten's editorial in the Thursday Morning Bulletin about Talisman Sabre.

He doesn't agree with the activists who have come to town to challenge our increasing involvement in the US war machine, which has impacts far beyond the economic benefits of military tourism.

I'm a local who agrees with the southern activists and I'd like to challenge the Bully to host an online forum-debate, similar to the ones we had in the lead-up to the federal election.

They could get Michelle Landry, (pictured) who is equally articulate and ready to stand up for what she believes, to debate one of the Peace Pilgrims.

In such a format, your readers would also get a chance to ask both sides questions and to have their own say.

How about it, Bully?

Are you up for putting your forum where your mouth is?
