Life-threatening injuries at crash in Nankin

POLICE are investigating a serious single vehicle traffic crash that occurred at Nankin late last night.

Initial investigations indicate that around 11pm, a sedan was travelling east on Emu Park Road, when it left the road and rolled a number of times before coming to rest.

The man driving suffered minor injuries, while the passenger, also a man, suffered life-threatening injuries.

Both the men who are believed to be aged in their early 20's, were transported to the Rockhampton Base Hospital by the Queensland Ambulance Service for treatment.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating. There is no further information available at this stage.
