Lisa Curry and beau about to tie the knot
FORMER Olympic swimmer Lisa Curry is set to tie the knot with Elvis impersonator beau Mark Tabone at her Sunshine Coast retreat.
The 55-year-old posted a beachside photo accompanied by a takeaway coffee cup to mark the occasion on Instagram this morning, along with the caption "Good morning sunshine".
Friends and well-wishers have been commenting on a series of online posts in the lead up to the big day, including a hen's night photo on Tuesday where three friends posed with Curry donning pyjamas and "Team Bride" sunglasses.
Curry described the night as "raging" and thanked her friends for their support.
"A few more sleeps and I'll be a 'Mrs', thanks to my gorgeous friends who endlessly help me out doing all the last minute runaround things. I couldn't have done it without you," she said.
The pair are expected to be married at the rural property at Crohamhurst surrounded by loved ones.
Curry has previously said her 2-month-old grandchild Flynn will escort her up the aisle.
She posted a video on Instagram on Thursday showing her rocking baby Flynn, and joking that her 52-year-old fiance is marrying a "granny".
The pair announced their engagement in October 2016, while Curry was still legally married to ex-husband Ironman Grant Kenny.
She spoke publically of her frustration over not being able to move on and marry her fiance while filming I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here last year, before finally settling her divorce to Kenny.
