Live stream of Champion Basketball Schools Queensland
The Champion Basketball Schools Queensland competition starts tomorrow and you will be able to see it via live streaming online on this website.
More than 120 teams from across the state will converge on three venues - Logan Metro, Cornubia Park Sports Complex and Mt Warren Sports Complex - over four days, with the grand finals to be played on Sunday afternoon.
"The Molten CBSQ is the largest high school basketball tournament in the state, with teams from across Queensland representing their schools over four days of intense basketball competition,'' said Basketball Queensland Chief Operating Officer Joshua Pascoe.
"Basketball Queensland is excited to be able to stream the action to supporters of these teams and all lovers of basketball, showcasing the impressive skills of students from across Queensland.''
Matches will be played across seven divisions.
There will be the boys and girls championship division, while the boys will also have division two, three and four and the girls division two and three.
St James College and St Margaret Mary's College Hillcrest Christian College have won the last two championship division grand finals in boys and girls respectively, while Hillcrest Christian College won the boys championship in 2016 and Brisbane State High School won the girls championship in 2016.
Since the start of the competition in 1974, Townsville SHS, John Paul College and St Peters Lutheran College have each won the boys championship on six occasion, while John Paul College has won the girls championship 13 times, St Peters Lutheran College eight times and Townsville SHS on four occasions.
Hillcrest Christian College and Cairns SHS kick off the championship division at 8am on Thursday, while on the girls' side of the draw, West Moreton Anglican College play St Margaret Mary's College, also at 8am.
