Local short film premiere postponed due to flooding

THE short film launch of Toonooba Voices made by local filmmakers as part of Creative Capricorn's 2013 arts program on February 13 has been postponed due to flooding.

The premiere of a documentary, Toonooba Voices, commissioned by local producer Kaylene Butler, looks at the significance of the river to Rockhampton.

The launch was to be held at Riverside Park, but with flooding and clean-up impacting the area, organisers have decided to postpone the event.

The postponed date is hoped to be during March and the community will be notified through Creative Capricorn's email bulletin, Facebook site and through the media.

Membership to the monthly email bulletin is free via www.creativecapricorn.com.au
