YOUR STORY: Karaoke comp has raised $2,500 for SIDS

JD's Karaoke & Entertainment the promoter of the "Madison Lyell SIDS & KIDS Memorial Annual Karaoke Competition" has to date raised $2,500 for SIDS & Kids and the Total Prizes given away this year is $10,000 in cash & vouchers.

The last round of Heats in the "Madison Lyell SIDS & Kids Memorial Annual Karaoke Competition" started on Sunday 8th November at 2.30pm, with Venue Final on 6th December at the Pine Beach Hotel.

The Grand Final will be held at the Pine Beach Hotel on Sunday 13th December. There are 3 finalists from each of the following venues - Pine Beach April, September & December Finalists, Allenstown Hotel Finalists & The Lionleigh Finalists.

The "Madison Lyell SIDS & Kids Memorial Annual Karaoke Competition" is in memory of Madison Lyell who would have turned 20 this year if she hadn't died at 3 months of age from SIDS.

If you enjoy having a sing, come along on any Sunday over the next 4 weeks and have a go, a $5 donation to SIDS & Kids is required, when you enter a Heat, if you want to be eligible to win a prize. You never know you may become a weekly Heat Finalists, you will then go into the Venue Final and if you are one of the 3 Venue finalists you will be in the Grand Final. There is FREE entry, but you may like to make a donation to SIDS & Kids, there will be containers on the tables, but if you are donating $2 or more and require a Tax Deduction Receipt, please see one of the organisers.
