Make them green with envy

ST Patrick's Day Races are on this weekend at Callaghan Park, and there's sure to be plenty of colour.

Rachelle Carige, manager of Propaganda Lifestyle in Rockhampton, has some simple tips for those wanting to impress in the fashion stakes.

"The big thing is colour, the mid-length dress is also hugely in this season," she said.

"The length is a great way to stay both classic and relaxed."

She said fashion enthusiasts attending tomorrow's event should incorporate some Irish green into their ensemble.

"Either pair a green pop of colour with a black and white outfit or wear a printed dress where you can bring out the colour with accessories," she said.

Rachelle said crop tops were a great way to mix it up a bit, but were probably not the way to go if you're looking to participate in Fashions on the Field.

The popular fashion event features four categories, including Best Dressed Lady and Best Dressed Gent.
