Man allegedly rammed 4WD with family inside

A MAN who allegedly chased and rammed a Biloela family's four wheel drive on the Burnett Hwy earlier this month appeared before the Rockhampton Magistrates Court today.

Police arrested Lawrence Cameron Mitchell, 28 of Rockhampton, after he crashed his black sports car near Tomlin Rd on the night of Friday, November 4.

He faced two charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

On November 4 a woman was driving on the Burnett Hwy with her husband and three children when she claims a vehicle overtook her, braked and blocked the road, then reversed and rammed her vehicle twice before stopping before the headlights went out.

Mr Mitchell's case was adjourned to allow him to seek legal counsel. He is due to reappear on December 12.
