Man armed with knife threatening people at Northside Plaza

BREAKING: POLICE are responding to reports a man armed with a knife is threatening staff and shoppers at the Northside Plaza shopping centre. 

Initial reports suggest multiple crews are on scene after receiving a 000 call from a witness stating the man, believed to be in his 50s, was verbally harassing staff at Brumby's in Northside Plaza. 

No one has been harmed.
