Man charged over stolen antiques

BREAKING: Yeppoon police have charged a 22-year-old man with 18 offences after various stolen items, including antiques, were allegedly found in his home.

Last week police seized items such as silverware, jewellery, collectible dolls and lamps from his Yeppoon home and two other properties.

He was today charged with eight counts of burglary, seven counts of receiving stolen property, possessing tainted property, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils.

He is due to appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on January 27.
