Man charged with Yeppoon break-in

A ROCKHAMPTON man, 38, is due to appear in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court today after he was arrested yesterday and charged with multiple offences.

Charges included entering a dwelling with intent, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, failing to dispose of a syringe, contravening a requirement, possessing an implement used in a house break-in and three counts of entering a premise and committing an indictable offence.

His charges stem from a break and enter at a Yeppoon business at the weekend where a claw hammer was used to smash a timber door.

A police spokesman said some of the charges also related to alleged incidents in Rockhampton.
