Man denied bail on drug lab charge

A 26-YEAR-OLD man appeared in the Rockhampton Magistrates Court yesterday following a drug raid on a house in Rockhampton.

Police say they found a clandestine drug laboratory after they raided an address in Davis St in The Range on Wednesday.

Justin Thomassonwas remanded in custody by acting Magistrate Mark Morrow after his application for bail was rejected.

He faces six charges including two of possessing dangerous drugs and one each of producing dangerous drugs, possession of utensils, possessing a relevant substance or thing, possessing anything used in the commission of a crime and possessing instructions for producing dangerous drugs.

A 31-year-old woman has also been charged in relation to the lab and is due to appear in court later this month.

Thomasson is due to appear again later this month.
