Man disqualified after drug riding his Harley Davidson

A MAN caught riding a Harley Davidson motorbike after using cannabis was fined $400 in Rockhampton Magistrates Court yesterday.

Martin Anthony Jukes pleaded guilty to one count of operating a motor vehicle while a relevant drug was present in his saliva after police intercepted him at Westwood at 9.30pm on May 5.

Jukes told the court he "self-medicated the day before".

He was disqualified from driving for one month and ordered to pay $90.88 court costs.
