Man faces manslaughter charge for death of sister's partner

A YOUNG man has pleaded not guilty to his alleged involvement in running down his sister's boyfriend.
Samuel Collins is on trial in Brisbane Supreme Court charged with manslaughter or, alternatively, dangerous driving causing death on July 14, 2011, at Zipfs Rd at Alberton.
Crown prosecutor Glen Cash said the family of deceased man David Eldridge, 21, had now moved to the Sunshine Coast and would travel down to testify.
He will open his case to the jury on Thursday morning.
