Man forgot to report on public holiday

FORGETTING to report to the police station on a long weekend landed Luke Gregory Lowien in Rockhampton Magistrates Court yesterday.

Lowien, 33, failed to report on October 3, breaching a condition of the bail he was granted on August 18.

The court heard he reported to the police station the following day, saying he forgot due to the public holiday.

Lowien was fined $175.
