Manhunt after man stabbed in chest and head in Harristown
BREAKING: A man has been stabbed in the chest and head after a robbery in Harristown.
Detectives have established a crime scene at the corner of West and Alderley sts where a man is believed to have been set upon by unknown offenders about 4.30pm.
Initial investigations suggest the man had been driving a Toyota Rav 4, when he suffered a stab wound in the chest and head.
Police were not notified of the alleged incident until about an hour later when emergency services were called to the Tor Street Centre in Newtown about 5.30pm.

Queensland Ambulance paramedics transported the man to Toowoomba Hospital from the Newtown shops.
He is currently undergoing treatment.
A Police Media spokesman said a crime scene had been established at the corner of West and Alderley Streets with police searching for the Rav 4.
Detectives are yet to speak with the man who is in hospital.
