Man in hospital after being struck by car in Yeppoon

UPDATE 11.50AM: A QUEENSLAND Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed an man in his 30s was hit by a car in Guy St, Yeppoon this morning. 

The spokeswoman said QAS were called to the scene at 9.29am and transported the man to Capricorn Coast Hospital with soft tissue injuries. 

BREAKING 9.30AM: EMERGENCY services are responding to reports a pedestrian has been hit by a car in Yeppoon.

Initial reports indicate a man in his 30s has been struck by a vehicle in the driveway of a Guy St home.

It is unclear at this stage the extent of any injuries.
