Man trampled in horse fall

A MAN has suspected spinal injuries after falling from a horse in Central Queensland this morning.

The 34-year-old also has suspected internal abdominal injuries after the horse landed on him at Nuga Nuga station, about 208km south-west of Rockhampton, about 9am.

Ambulance crews were dispatched to the station along with the RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue aircraft.

The man was flown to Rockhampton for a CT scan and further tests.
