Man with history of violent offences is kept in custody
A MAN with a history of violent offences was refused bail and will remain in custody until his charges are heard next month.
Thomas William Gyemore, 34, appeared in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with assaulting three former partners.
Police prosecutor Matthew Heelan argued Gyemore posed an unacceptable risk of further violence.
Mr Heelan told the court the north Rockhampton bail address given by Gyemore had 20 people listed as living there.
Magistrate Barry Cosgrove refused bail based on the seriousness of the alleged behaviour.
