Woman's arm caught in grain mixer

UPDATE: A 64-year-old woman has been airlifted in a serious condition to a Brisbane hospital after having her arm caught in a grain mixer this morning.

A Queensland Ambulance Service media spokeswoman said the woman was airlifted with serious arm injuries to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane by RACQ Careflight helicopter.

BREAKING: Emergency services are on the way to a rural property south of Toowoomba after reports a woman's arm has become caught in a grain mixer.

The incident was reported about 11.15am.

It has occurred on a rural property on Fowler Rd, Broxburn, which is about 40km south of Toowoomba near Pittsworth.

An emergency helicopter is preparing to fly to the scene of the incident.

Queensland Ambulance Service and Queensland Fire and Emergency Service crews are also responding.
