A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson confirmed a man in his 50s was transported to hospital after the truck rollover early this morning.

The Bruce Hwy remains partially closed.

INITIAL 6.30AM: THE BRUCE Highway north of Rockhampton will be partially closed today as emergency services work to clear the scene of a truck rollover.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman confirmed emergency services were called to the Bruce Hwy, about 10 minutes north of Marlborough, just before 3am following reports a B-Double had rolled.

The spokeswoman said one lane of the Bruce Hwy was closed and would remain closed throughout the day due to a large amount of debris on the road.

The spokeswoman said the driver of the vehicle was not injured, however The Morning Bulletin understands he was transported to Rockhampton Hospital with shoulder injuries.

Motorists are urged to drive with caution and expect delays.

More to come.
