Mayor Anne Baker's annual Charity Ball plans set in motion

SAVE the date for Isaac's night of nights, Mayor Anne Baker's annual Charity Ball is set for Saturday October 21.

Isaac Regional Charity Fund Director and Mayor Anne Baker said it will be an unforgettable night of fun and fundraising in Moranbah Town Square.

"As a local leader you become more aware of those heart-breaking issues that directly affect people every day in our communities.

"Issues like depression and anxiety, domestic violence and youth suicide.

"Over the past three years, the Mayor's Charity Ball has fundraised for Beyond Blue (2014), White Ribbon (2015) and last year for Youth Suicide Prevention (2016).”

"Working with generous sponsors, volunteers, attendees, organisations, community groups and charities to help raise funds and awareness of these issues have been some of the most rewarding experiences in my life.”

"We've established the Isaac Regional Charity Fund with Mayor's Ball as the major fundraising event to continue this work as grassroots level in Isaac.”

"More details, including the very worthy cause for 2017, will be announced soon.”

The stylish black tie affair is being held under the night sky and will feature a sumptuous three course dinner, live music, prizes, charity auction and much more.

Organisations interested in sponsoring this event can register their interest by contacting the office of the Mayor on 07 4846 3504 or email mayorsball@isaac.qld.gov.au.

Proudly brought to you by the Isaac Regional Charity Fund. IRCF is a deductible gift recipient, which means it can receive tax-deductible gifts.
