Meningococcal boy stable

THE four-year-old Yeppoon boy who was taken to the Brisbane Royal Children's Hospital with meningococcal disease last week was yesterday afternoon in a stable condition.

Queensland Health on Friday confirmed it was investigating a case of the infection and it had provided information to close contacts of the boy and other concerned people.
