Merchandise shows support for bid

A NEW batch of official CQ NRL Bid merchandise has arrived in Central Queensland.

In order to keep up with demand, 1500 T-shirts and 1000 caps are about to go on sale, initially through Sports Central in East Street, Rockhampton, but the bid team is also attempting to tap into retail outlets in other centres including Gladstone, Mackay and Bundaberg.

“Our supplies, admittedly, were running low due to the great response to our initial batch of merchandise, but we've now rectified that and we're ready to go again,” said CQ NRL Bid project co-ordinator Jason Costigan.

“The early feedback was marvellous and with the NRL finals well and truly underway, we believe it's a perfect time for the new product to hit the market.

“These shirts come in all shapes and sizes, accommodating almost everyone.”

The CQ NRL Bid Team, with conjunction with IT and marketing partner Almost Anything Web & Graphic Design, is also getting closer to establishing an on-line shopping facility through the bid's official website ( www.cqnrlbid.com.au).
