Mining expo has 300 sites

THE Central Queensland Transport, Trades and Mining Expo in Rockhampton next week will showcase the extraordinary opportunities that are developing as a result of the resources boom.

With more than 300 sites occupied by suppliers, service providers, government agencies and manufacturers, the expo at the showgrounds is a gateway to the surging mining and energy sector.

Featuring a seminar program and a wide variety of equipment, products and services, the expo showcases opportunities to engage in the region's rapidly expanding development.

The MyCareer Pavilion at the expo offers a one-stop-shop for those looking to work in the resources industries.

Visitors will have the opportunity to discuss the jobs that are available and what level of training they will need to get started.
