Missing Rocky man Martinez’s wallet found at Gavial Creek
THERE has been a breakthrough in the search for missing Rockhampton pair Robert Martinez and Chantal Barnett.
Senior Sergeant Scott Moon yesterday a wallet found at a popular Gavial Creek fishing spot had been identified as belonging to Mr Martinez.
"The CIB, along with the Homicide Squad, are committed to finding this couple and even though it is a suspicious disappearance we are treating it as a missing persons case still and we want the public's help with any information," Snr Sgt Moon said.
"Somebody out there knows something about this and are not talking and we have had a lot of people contact us but we need that person or persons who knows what has happened to call us."
He said police involved in this case were committed to solving it and bringing some peace to the parents and families involved.

The pair went missing on March 23.
