Mo Bros get challenged in special CrossFit event tomorrow

FLEX your muscles, sweat up a storm and raise money for CQUniversity's Mo Bros at a special event tomorrow.

To assist 19 CQUniversity staff raise funds for Movember, KickStartCQ along with CrossFit CQ and Mass Nutrition have teamed up to run the Movember 2013 CrossFit Challenge.

The challenge will be held at the CQUniversity Gym from 7am.

It will see teams of four compete in three CrossFit workouts across three divisions (Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced) ensuring that participants of any ability can get involved. At this stage it is expected that a total of 30 teams will battle it out in support of the CQUniversity Movember team.

Spectators and supporters are encouraged to come along and get involved in all that will be happening throughout the day.

Briefing for competitors will begin at 7am with the final workout planned to finish at approximately 3:30pm, so make sure you come and check out the action and support all the 'Mo Bros' and 'Mo Sistas' that are participating.

Organisers hope to smash last year's donation of $15,475 to the Movember Foundation.

Donations for the CQUniversity team have been flowing in since the start of Movember and the community are encouraged to continue supporting these 'Mo Bros' with donations of any amount.

Donations can be made by visiting the team page at http://au.movember.com/team/1056853 .
