Monster python found hiding in child’s playroom
LOCKYER Valley snake catcher Andrew Smedley has caught a massive python hiding in a child's playroom.
Mr Smedley was called to the home at 3am today after the owners found the python curled up behind a child's toy.
He said the homeowners had been hearing noises for the last couple of nights but only found the snake early this morning.

"(They) opened the door to find not only the snake, but it had even shed its skin which was sprawled across the floor," Mr Smedley said.
"That means it had been in the house for probably the last week or so.

"When snakes are about to shed their skin they stay dormant for a week or so until the skin is ready to be shed.
Mr Smedley said the homeowners were "understandably freaked out".
He posted a video on his Facebook page of the python being released in bushland.
