Moranbah man charged with robbery

A 19-YEAR-OLD Moranbah man will appear in the Mackay Magistrates Court today charged with robbery.

About 3.15pm yesterday, a 44-year-old man had withdrawn a sum of money from a bank on Sain Francis Dr in Moranbah.

As he was getting into his vehicle, another man approached him and allegedly grabbed a bag containing the cash and fled the scene.

This man was located by police and charged with one count of robbery.
