More storms predicted for Rockhampton and Yeppoon

MORE storms, possibly severe, are predicted for Rockhampton and the Capricorn Coast today. 

The Bureau of Meteorology recorded 8.8mm at Rockhampton Airport in the 24 hours to 9am after a storm passed over Central Queensland yesterday. 

However, some parts of the region recieved more, with Morning Bulletin readers sharing their rain gauge readings on Facebook. 

Elizabeth Winston from Mount Morgan said they recorded 22mm in a storm on Friday, with 11mm recorded from the storm yesterday. 

Alton Downs seemed to receive some of the best falls.
