MP Billy Gordon will not be charged over sexting allegations

MEMBER for Cook Billy Gordon will not be charged with sending explicit photos to women.

Three women came forward to report the Labor-turned-independent member had sent them explicit images, while a fourth is facing charges she allegedly attempted to blackmail the MP over the images.

A "comprehensive" police investigation concluded with "insufficient evidence to lay charges" over the claims.

"Relevant parties have been informed of this decision," a police spokeswoman said.

It's the second police investigation to conclude with no charges involving Mr Gordon since his election to Parliament in January this year.
