Mulch fire on Yaamba Rd, Parkhurst

UPDATE 4pm: A QFES spokesperson said the blaze was on an empty property block on Yaamba Rd.

The mulch pile was around five metres by four metres in size.

Crews left the scene at 12pm.

 

BREAKING 11.30am: CREWS are on their way to a site on Yaamba Rd, where a small mulch fire has broken out.

A spokesperson from the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said the pile was "smouldering".

It is believed no structures are in danger.
