Mums welcome Christmas miracles

IT was the best Christmas present any mother could ask for.

Mums Heaven-Lee Holland-Clay and Toni Gudmann received a little bundle of joy each yesterday morning.

Heaven, 17, gave birth to a baby girl, Keiarla-Rose, at 2.15am, after going into labour on Thursday.

Little Keiarla-Rose wasn’t due to arrive until January 10.

But despite the early Christmas present she still weighed in at a healthy 3.26kg.

Yesterday Heaven, supported by a proud grandmother, was slightly exhausted but extremely happy.

“It was a big shock that she came on Christmas but it’s definitely a good Christmas present.”

Heaven can’t wait to take Keiarla-Rose back to her home at Biloela.

Little Kevin Gudmann just came in on Christmas Day having been born at 12.06am.

Exhausted mother Toni, 36, said Kevin was 10 days overdue, but weighed a healthy 3.31kg,

Toni had to have an emergency caesarean, after being in labour for more than 18 hours.

Both babies were born at Rockhampton Hospital yesterday.
