Mur’bah organic business wins innovation award

MURWILLUMBAH'S Anni Brownjohn has taken out the Business Innovation Award at the 2013 Telstra Australian Business Women's Awards in Melbourne on November 14.

Ms Brownjohn founded The Right Food Group 14 years ago aiming to provide tasty good value food for people with food intolerances or allergy.

While growing her organic food company she has undertaken numerous courses in nutrition and naturopathy, not to mention hours and hours of research and testing of her product which has now paid off.

"Fourteen years later, The Right Food Group is supplying across Australia and is exporting to 20 countries," Ms Brownjohn said.

She is now working on a world first certified organic instant noodles product, proving a mix of innovation and hard work has paid off.

"I have demonstrated that, by perseverance, women can succeed against huge odds and through friendship we can support each other."
