THE Nerimbera Football Club is getting back on its feet nine months on from Cyclone Marcia.

Club President Ricky England said construction will start to rebuild the club, which was wiped out in the storm in February.

Not only is the club being rebuilt, but a $400 donation from Rockhampton Regional Council's Community Fund will see the club's trophy's restored.

The club's trophies received significant damage after being stuck underneath a brick wall when Cyclone Marcia tore the building apart.
