Netballers to learn from best with clinic run next month

ASPIRING netballers and coaches are going to have the opportunity to work with two of the best minds in Australian netball next month.

Former Australian netball representatives Catherine Cox and Rebecca Bulley will host a netball coaches' clinic at Rockhampton's Jardine Park netball courts on August 30.

Scheduled to run from 2.30pm-3.45pm, the clinic for local coaches will be followed by a clinic for players aged 12 and over from 4pm-5.15pm.

Cox retired from playing netball after winning the 2014 ANZ Championships title with the Melbourne Vixens.

The former New South Wales Swifts, West Coast Fever and Vixens goalshooter played 108 Tests for Australia.

Bulley is a member of the Australian Diamonds squad and plays circle defence for the Adelaide Thunderbirds.

Local players and coaches can register with the Rockhampton Netball Association before the day of the clinic by phoning the RNA on 4922 1043.
