Man, 18, on 46 charges after continuing to offend on bail

SIRONEN John William McKinley had his application for bail denied in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Monday.

McKinley, 18, is charged with breach of bail and trespass, among 46 charges, mostly related to attempted entry to motor vehicles.

Police Prosecutor Matthew Heelan said McKinley had continued to commit offences while on bail and breached bail on 12 occasions.

He is accused of breaching curfew when he was found by police on a Rockhampton school grounds in the company of other known offenders.

Magistrate Cameron Press refused bail, saying McKinley was an unacceptable risk due to ignoring bail conditions in the past.
