North Toowoomba fires under investigation

FIRES at a North Toowoomba home are under investigation.

Firefighters were called to a Roseberry St home at 2.36am and then again at 4.22am today.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said the first call out was for a fire in a shed and the second call was for a fire in a detached laundry.

Officers from the Toowoomba Criminal Investigation Branch as well as scenes of crime investigators were at the home this morning.

A detective said officers were working to determine whether or not the fires had been deliberately lit.
