NT holiday maker airlifted to Rocky from Heron Island
A NORTHERN Territory man staying on Heron Island was picked up by the RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service on Saturday.
The 25 year old male, from Wanguri, attend the medical centre on the island not feeling well.
He was provided treatment and was evacuated to Rockhampton.
The RACQ Intensive Care Paramedic assessed the patient and it is thought that he may have been suffering Pancreatitis.
He was then prepared for the flight and was transferred in a stable condition to Rockhampton Hospital.
