Old powerhouse site's fresh start

ERGON Energy’s new $14 million Training and Development facility in Rockhampton will be officially opened today.

Built on the site of the original Rockhampton powerhouse at Glenmore Road, the facility is able to deliver all attributes of Ergon’s training requirements including technical/field, safety, corporate and customer contact.

Ergon said this ensured it’s staff had the necessary skills and training to continue to improve service delivery to customers and keep pace with the unprecedented levels of development occurring in Queensland.
