Old time schooner returns to bay

THE South Passage, a 30-metre schooner resembling nineteenth century pilot ships, will return to Rosslyn Bay on Sunday, May 29, to take 50 people on a day sail across the waters inside Fraser Island.

Passengers can sit back and take in the sea air or help the crew sail the ship.

Some of the experiences include hoisting the sails, tacking the ship, steering or hanging out on the bow netting to look out for dolphins and turtles.

Tickets are $70 for adults and $35 for children.
