Open invitation to enter float in annual Christmas Parade

ROCKHAMPTON is gearing up for its 19th annual Christmas Parade - and you're invited to take part.

The much-anticipated Rockhampton Christmas Parade on Thursday, November 14, is organised by Cancer Council Queensland and Stockland Rockhampton and will once again brighten up the streets and bring Christmas back to the region.

Community groups, schools and businesses are all invited to enter a float this year - whether it's a decorated truck, car, marching band or dancing group - everyone is welcome.

The parade starts at 5.45pm at the Rockhampton Cricket Grounds and travel to Stockland Rockhampton via Musgrave St, with judging taking place on Musgrave St.

To register a float, phone the Cancer Council's Rockhampton office on 0749328604 or the Fundraising Hotline on 1300656585.
