Paramedics rush to popular lake after near drowning

ONE person has been rushed to hospital after they almost drowned at a popular Sunshine Coast lake this afternoon.
Paramedics were called to the near drowning at Currimundi Lake, off Westaway Parade, just before 1pm, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said.
The patient was treated at the scene before being taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
