EARLIER this week Todd Carney was let go from the Cronulla Sharks after a lewd photo of him was circulated on the internet. 

It was the last straw for Carney after a long list of indiscretions. 

Earlier this week The Morning Bulletin spoke to parents to see what they thought about the incident, and to get their opinion on whether sports stars should be held up as role models in society.
