Parking would give Suzie from Kaboozies a needed hit

OPENING a sweet treats boutique in Yeppoon eight years ago was a bittersweet milestone for "Suzie from Kaboozies".

After a year into her Australia- made sweets business venture, turnover at Suzie Hunting's shop was down by 40%.

Although it has taken a few years for business at her boutique store Kaboozies to amplify, she said she could do with another decent candy-cash boost. A new car park in the Yeppoon beachfront area would give her that "hit".

She said business turnover would increase by 40% because she believed more car parks would bring more tourists to the area.

"Everyone has been calling for a car park ... we need it because it can be a real challenge finding a park on a normal day," Suzie said.

Originally from Gladstone, Susie sells assorted NSW and Queensland-made sweets including chocolates.
