Police confirm man in his 20s killed after tree falls on car

UPDATE: Police have confirmed a Brisbane man aged in his 20s was killed in the incident at Conondale last night.

The man had stopped his vehicle on the Maleny Kenilworth Rd to repair it.

He was outside of the vehicle when the tree fell.  

EARLIER:

A PERSON has been killed after a tree fell and struck their vehicle in Conondale last night.

At 7.44pm Queensland Ambulance Service attended the scene where it is believed the person was inside the vehicle when a tree fell.

Clayton's Towing are reporting they responded to the incident where it is believed a young man's four wheel drive had broken down and he had stopped to repair it.

The other person in the vehicle was not injured.
