Peter Freeleagus is doing his bit for Movember

PETER Freeleagus' signature mo will be no more if he can raise at least $5000 this Movember to go towards prostate cancer and men's health.

The Moranbah boilermaker and unsuccessful Labor candidate for Capricornia has issued a challenge to the people of Central Queensland.

"I want to try and raise funds to go to prostate cancer, and at the end of it all I will shave it (The Mo) but only so long as I raise $5000 which I think is achievable," Peter said.

The former Moranbah mayor said he had worn a moustache ever since he was serving as a boilermaker apprentice, aged 18-years-old, and it had only been shaved off three times.

To donate to men's health, and if you want to see Peter's mo go, visit www.au.movember.com and search Peter Freeleagus.
